After a double blind abstract review process, the Co-Founders of DotCom Therapy were selected to present at the 30th World Congress of the International Association of Logopedics and Phoniatrics in Dublin, Ireland. Rachel Robinson and Emily Purdom will work with speech therapists from around the world in a workshop format to advocate for best practices in teletherapy. The title of their workshop is, "Teletherapy in Action: Increasing Quality of Care Through Innovative Service Delivery.” The goal is to encourage multicultural best practices for offering speech therapy online through secure videoconferencing.
DotCom Therapy (DCT) is revolutionizing speech therapy for patients across the lifespan by offering specialized services online. Using DCT’s unique integrated platform, patients are able to work directly with an experienced therapist who can deliver the highest quality of therapy. Now travel and scheduling are no longer barriers to working with an expert DCT clinician. Purdom explains, "We are excited to use our success stories to lead international discussion regarding the best practices and use of technology in our field. It’s all about providing the most effective therapy possible for our patients, and innovation is allowing us to do just that.”
